Using RPG Elements in the Classroom - under construction

In our classroom, we use elements of RPGS for a variety of purposes, especially to increase engagement with content and teamwork/prosocial skills in the students.

How does it work? And how can we make it work better? That is the research I am always working on independently and through my work with TabletopEDU

-First - Here is a list of academic articles supporting the use of ttrpgs in education (from the wonderful Steph at TTRPGKids!)

-Under Resources check out the articles I have published around RPGs in classrooms and beyond (Including my thesis!)

-A colleague and I are still working on using a version of the solo RPG Lighthouse at the End of the World, from Bannerless Games, to study impact on the creative writing of 8th graders!

Stay Tuned!
